Project Homeless Connect is a special project of a consortium of many local social service agencies, government agencies, professional organizations, area restaurants, generous individuals and faith-based groups.
The event offers services designed to empower homeless individuals and families so that they may quickly escape the streets. Now in year eight, the previous seven annual events have offered essential services, including dental care, housing outreach and medical assistance, to approximately 3,000 homeless and near-homeless area residents.
Providers, volunteers and donors are needed to make the day a success.
